Westfield has announced they will open a state-of-the-art AMC luxury theatre with 12 screens that will be approximately 55,000 square feet as a part of the new dining and entertainment district at Westfield Topanga.
Larry Green, Senior Vice President US Development for Westfield, told Valley News Group, “AMC has been a great partner to Westfield and our community. We are excited that they will bring a state of the art AMC luxury theater to our Westfield Topanga’s new entertaining, dining and flagship retail district at Westfield Topanga. While we expect to make more announcements in the lead up to the opening of the expansion in 2021, I’m really happy that we’ve been able to find a home for AMC while we develop the Promenade site, and know they will continue to serve the San Fernando Valley community for years to come.”
Green added, “The updated dining, entertainment, and flagship retail district at Westfield Topanga will further establish the center the perfect place for locals and visitors alike to shop, eat and play in the San Fernando Valley; as well as place the center at the vanguard of experience-driven retail destinations nationally. The renovation will also feature a new, grand entrance for Westfield Topanga and improved connectivity with The Village located across Victory Boulevard, with better pedestrian access to welcome guests traveling by foot and trolley between both properties.”
