The dismembered body parts found in an Encino dumpster have been identified by the County Coroner as those of a missing mom from Tarzana. Mei Li Haskell, 37, was reported missing and presumed dead after her husband hired workers last month to dispose of bags containing body parts. Those workers returned the bags to Haskell, who then dumped them into a trash bin where they were later found. Samuel Haskell made slasher films and had a fascination with swords and antique weapons. Mei Li’s parents, Gaoshan Li and Yanxiang Wang, are still missing. The couple’s three children are reported residing with relatives. Haskell is being held without bail.
