Blue Note Jazz and the LA Phil kick off the Blue Note Jazz Festival – formerly the storied Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival – beginning the upcoming Hollywood Bowl season.
Presented by the LA Phil, the 2026 edition of the festival kicks off on June 13 at the iconic Hollywood Bowl. This partnership reflects a shared commitment by both organizations to supporting and showcasing jazz artists.
The festival presents two days of performances by exceptional artists in jazz and beyond. Arsenio Hall will again host this year’s festival, which features Patti LaBelle; Wyclef Jean; Gregory Porter; Samara Joy; Yussef Dayes; Cimafunk; Robert Glasper presents R+R=NOW featuring Terrace Martin, Chief Adjuah, Derrick Hodge, Justin Tyson, and Taylor McFerrin; Kokoroko; Elena Pinderhughes; Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz Performance Ensemble at UCLA; LAUSD Beyond the Bell All-City Jazz Big Band; LA County High School for the Arts Band and more.

The iconic Blue Note Jazz Club expanded to Los Angeles last year, bringing the legendary reputation of its renowned New York flagship to the heart of LA’s dynamic music scene.
Designed specifically for Los Angeles, the new venue on Sunset Boulevard offer an intimate atmosphere paired with programming similar to its New York counterpart’s: world-class jazz performances from celebrated icons, rising stars and genre-defying collaborations that reflect the evolution of jazz.
One of the largest natural amphitheaters in the world, with a seating capacity of nearly 18,000, the Hollywood Bowl has been the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic since its official opening in 1922 and plays host to the finest artists from all genres of music. For over a century, the Bowl has been a Los Angeles County public park, operated in partnership with the LA Phil to welcome visitors from all over the world. In February 2025, the Hollywood Bowl was awarded the Outdoor Concert Venue of the Year award at the 36th Annual Pollstar Awards, an honor bestowed 17 previous times.
