Who Buys a $450,000 Car?

Mitchell Bobrow, above right, took delivery of his new Cadillac Celestiq on Wednesday, a custom-designed, hand-built luxury car in the $450,000 range. Bobrow came to Cadillac of Calabasas with his good friend Jon Lovitz, and took pictures with the car and Cadillac of Calabasas GM Rick Bilgrien, above. Vegas-based Bobrow is a martial arts fighter who was trained by Ki Whang Kim in the early 1960s and is the founder of the martial arts and sports gear company Otomix. Known as the “Boy Wonder,” he started competing as an adult black belt at the young age of 15 with Chuck Norris and Joe Lewis. A friend of and sometimes trained by Bruce Lee, Bobrow was known for his continuous attacks using a unique combination of kicks, punches, and sweeps including his trademark jump back kick that scored on his opponents with either leg. He is also a seasoned actor and member of SAG AFTRA. He describes himself as “somewhat of a car aficionado” and owns a Rolls Royce convertible, 1970 VW bus camper, anniversary edition 300ZX and a Cadillac convertible XLR. “I’ve always been a fan of Cadillac and they came out with a car that’s better than anything else on the market,” he told Valley News Group at the unveiling of his cognac and black styled Celestiq.
