
The Los Angeles Rams, headquartered in Woodland Hills, opened their 2025 season with a 14-9 win Sunday over the Houston Texans, and a win at local schools with big giveaways.
The game featured Matthew Stafford back on the field at SoFi Stadium after a back injury, and a late fumble from Nate Landman that helped secure the win.
To kick off their season, Rams players, cheerleaders and their mascot Rampage visited Welby Way Charter Elementary in West Hills.
The Rams prioritize youth and high school football efforts, and health and wellness among youth. At Welby Way they chatted with students and gave away t-shirts themed “The Royal Tour: Remastered” that featured the 2025 Los Angeles Rams schedule.
In addition, the team will provide more than 15,000 shirts and more than 20,000 wristbands to more than 25 schools including Canoga Park Elementary, Calabash Charter Academy, Calvert Charter for Enriched Studies, Encino Charter Elementary, Hamlin Charter Academy, Hart Street Elementary, Haynes Charter for Enriched Studies, Lanai Road Elementary, Lockhurst Drive Charter Elementary, Nestle Avenue Charter Elementary, Pomelo Community Charter, Serrania Avenue Charter for Enriched Studies, Wilbur Charter For Enriched Academics, Woodlake Elementary Community Charter and Woodland Hills Elementary Charter.
