
At its May 28 meeting, the Calabasas City Council proudly announced that City Manager Dr. Kindon Meik has been selected as the recipient of the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS) City Manager of the Year Award. The award will be presented at the ALADS 23rd Annual Awards Banquet on June 21 in the City of Industry.
This distinguished honor reflects his exceptional leadership, steadfast commitment to public safety and dedication to building strong partnerships between municipal government and law enforcement. Dr. Meik’s collaborative style and forward-thinking strategies have fostered a safer, more resilient and more connected community.
“We are grateful for Kindon’s dedication to the community and his consistent focus on improving the lives of those around him,” said Mayor Peter Kraut. “The City of Calabasas has directly benefited from his leadership, and we are thrilled to see his hard work recognized by ALADS.”
Meik manages Calabasas, a city with over 23,000 residents.
