Gong Adds New Dimension to Sound Bath at  Native Spirit Lodge

  • by

A new dimension has been added to the sound bath experience at Native Spirit Lodge.

Proprietor and sound bath leader Greywolf says the 32” hand-hammered Thai gong offers a quiet sound to complement the high pitch of the crystal singing bowls, saying, “Gong therapy is a part of everyday life in Thailand, where every family has their own gong in their personal temple.”

The new gong also offers healing through angels, as each of the round discs on the gong represent an angel: guardian, archangel, seraphim, cherubim, etc.

The gong, in conjunction with perfect pitch bowls, is said to relieve stress, anxiety and frustration.

The Native Spirit Lodge’s sound bath room has reclining chairs (no yoga floor mats) and over 100 crystal singing bowls in a quiet environment. It is the perfect environment to let the sound bath wash away your stress.

The bowls are also available for purchase in sets of two in various chakra colors.

Sound baths are offered Fridays at noon, Saturday at 4 pm and Sundays at 12 pm for approximately 50 minutes each. The charge is only $20 person. Space is limited so reserve early by calling (818) 703-7046. Walk-ins are also welcome  but there is no guarantee of an available seat.

Native Spirit Lodge is located at  22559 Ventura Blvd., just west of Shoup Avenue.
