World War II veteran, West Hills resident and member of the Wings Over Wendy’s veterans’ group Ethel Margolin passed away Tuesday morning at the age of 102. During WWII she worked in factories as one of the original “Rosie the Riveters.” In 1944 she enlisted in the Armed Forces in the Women’s Army Corps working at Air Transport Command. She was attending WOW meetings until a few weeks ago. A service is scheduled this Sunday, February 2, at 2:30 pm at Mount Sinai, 5950 Forest Lawn Drive. A reception follows at 5 pm at the American Legion Post 826, 5320 Fallbrook Avenue, Woodland Hills.
