The Los Angeles Rams have teamed up with community partners to kick off their annual “Season of Giving.”
They began the season at the West Valley Food Pantry’s Thanksgiving Distribution, hosting Ramsgiving at the team’s practice facility.
They also joined the City of Inglewood’s 10th annual Turkey Giveaway and partnered with L.A. Care Health Plan for a Holiday Extravaganza at the field the team installed at the Nickerson Gardens housing development in September.
The Rams Season of Giving campaign is an initiative to give back to the L.A. community. Since 2018, Rams players, cheerleaders, mascot Rampage and front office staff have participated in annual Community Blitz and Season of Giving days of service that have helped address food insecurity, provide gifts to those in need and uplift this community during the holiday season.
The event at the West Valley Food Pantry included a Thanksgiving mobile produce and grocery distribution to serve nearly 150 families. Volunteers participated in food bagging, distribution and family greeting.
The West Valley Food Pantry is dedicated to ending food insecurity in the West Valley. The organization operates a drive-through food pantry five days a week, distributing over 15,000 pounds of food weekly to more than 800 households, along with a senior delivery program that reaches 600 seniors monthly. To address other essential needs, they provide supportive services like infant supplies ,school supplies and hygiene products. They host community events including vaccination and mobile pet clinics.
