Friends of the Woodland Hills Library’s Book Sale is Friday, August 23 (9:30 am to 4:00 pm) and Saturday, August 24, (9:30 am to 3:00 pm). A pre-sale for Friends of the Library is Thursday, August 22 from 3 to 7 pm. On Saturday, August 24 between 1 to 3 pm, fill a bag with books, CDs, DVDs and audio books for $10.
All sales are cash or check, no credit cards. A large selection of children’s, nonfiction, and fiction books is available, in hardback, trade, and mass market paperbacks. Prices range from 50 cents to $2 per book. Other items include cookbooks, craft and gardening books, DVDs and CDs. Children attending with parents receive a free book.
Woodland Hills Library is located at 22200 Ventura Boulevard. Friends’ membership is $15 a year (individual) and $20 a year (family). All proceeds benefit the Woodland Hills Library.
