Construction will shut down lanes and ramps of the 405 Freeway this weekend. CalTrans closures are planned for 10 pm Friday through 5 am Monday. Planned closures include:
Southbound 405.
• The southbound 405 Freeway will be reduced to two lanes in the area of the 101 Freeway in Sherman Oaks.
• The Burbank Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound 405 will be closed.
Northbound 405
• The northbound 405 off-ramp to Getty Center Drive will be closed.
101 Freeway
• The northbound 101 connector to the southbound 405 will be closed.
• The southbound 101 connector to the southbound 405 will be reduced to one lane.
Construction has been going on since June 2025 as part of the 405 Pavement Rehabilitation Project to improve safety and mobility on the freeway.
