
The National Charity League, Inc. – San Fernando Valley Chapter, gathered at the Beverly Wilshire-Four Seasons Hotel for the 58th annual Charity Ball – “Make Your Own Kind of Music,” presenting 10 inspiring debutantes who have completed their six-year core mother-daughter program of leadership development, community service, and cultural experiences.
On the arm of their fathers, the San Fernando Valley Chapter Debutantes include: Miss Sarah Kathleen Bryant, Miss Faith Angelica Dalton, Miss Skyler Jean Farley, Miss Sadie Jane Freeman, Miss Adriana Beatrice Granato, Miss Gillian Mryl Harrison, Miss Peyton Reese Kaminsky, Miss Brooke Ryan Norris, Miss Sydney Leigh Soussan, and Miss Taylan Evanne Takac. This year’s event was led by Charity Ball Directors Ms. Alaine Balsamo and Mrs. Carrie Gilmore.
Founded on December 1, 1948, the San Fernando Valley Chapter has made an indelible mark on the community through its unwavering commitment to charitable giving, raising over $3.5 million and averaging over 12,000 hours of hands-on service annually to their philanthropy partners. These contributions have supported a wide range of initiatives, from education and healthcare to social services, ensuring that those in need receive the assistance they deserve.
The San Fernando Valley Chapter currently has over 224 active and 308 sustainer members who provide hands-on volunteer service and financial support for 10 philanthropic organizations in the community.
